Job Description

A leader in the MRO aviation industry is searching for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our management team and take our Quality department to the next level.  The position will include the following duties:

·         Overall management and responsibility of the Quality Department.

·         Maintain the quality system in continuous compliance with all ISO 9001:2000 quality standard requirements.

·         Ensure the organization is FAA and EASA compliant at all times.

·         Implement quality system improvements to ensure an efficient and effective quality system/organization.

·         Maintain control of all quality system documents and data.

·         Ensure the quality system of our sub-contract vendors’ meet our requirements and all vendors receive approval prior to use.

·         Maintain the Corrective Action and Preventive Action programs.

·         Ensure all Quality records and documents are maintained as required.

·         Maintain the internal audit program and host external and third-party audits.

·         Implement and maintain the Company’s FAA compliant training program.

·         Provide initial and periodic training on quality and safety topics.

·         Perform statistical analysis of processes and systems to measure performance toward obtaining Quality Objectives.

·         Maintain the Safety program and chair the Safety Committee

·         Work on various strategic projects as a member of the management team.

·         The duties above are to be performed with minimum supervision.

Job Requirements

Applicants must meet the following job requirements:

1. Have a minimum of (5) five years experience as a Quality Assurance Manager.
2. Be proficient in the use and implementation of ISO 9000:2000 Quality Standard.
3. Have experience with and a working knowledge of FAA CFR 145.
4. Be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and work in a fast paced environment.
5. Be able to achieve objectives in a timely manner, within budget and with minimal supervision.
6. Have strong computer skills and be well organized.
7. Have excellent communication and leadership skills to engage Team members.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.

The company specializes in the repair and overhaul of several aviation and industrial ground turbine engine components with both foreign and domestic customers.
