For more information, please see: http://us.fujitsu.com/telecom. We are seeking a Quality Engineer to plan and implement product/process improvements for key manufacturing objectives. This position is in Richardson, TX. Responsibilities include: Identify quality objectives and measure performance toward meeting the objectives. Perform data collection, analysis and reporting to identify and then resolve the most important issues affecting manufacturing product quality and field reliability. Perform failure verification and analysis to identify root causes of component failures. Implement preventative/corrective action plans to improve products, processes and services at the root cause level including design, manufacturing, repair and support activities. Manage the component and electronic assembly supply chain evaluating Supplier's products and faciltities with Purchasing and Component Engineering.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelors degree with field of study in EE/EET
- 3+ years experience in Quality Engineering with process improvement background in electronic assembly
- CQE preferred
- Skills and abilities with Quality Concepts, Problem Solving methods
- Excellent written/verbal communication
