Quality Manager:
We are a strong, growing and financially secure Texas manufacturer looking to move from good to great.
We are looking for an energetic, inspirational and demonstrated quality leader and change agent, who will help us to become world-class in Quality.
This is a hands-on, down and dirty, plant floor position. We need a proven quality change agent, who can also drive Lean and CI throughout the facility. We need someone who can work equally effectively with people on floor, as well as with sophisticated customers.
This is not an opportunity for a “corporate HQ" type or desk-jockey.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 5-10 years of world-class, quality management experience gained in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
- High sense of urgency.
- Driven to achieve.
- Change agent
- Be a floor person.
- Specific experience in plastic extrusion.
- CQM or CQE certification desirable.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Root cause Analysis and Corrective Actions & Six Sigma.
- Strong Coaching skills and genuine comfort working with line employees.
- Strong Skills handling customer complaints and customer qualifications.
- Spanish language skills a plus.
