Engineered Air is an international manufacturer of made-to-order HVAC products. The company started in 1966 with the manufacture of direct gas-fired make-up air equipment. The company has posted quarterly profits continuously since incorporation. This exceptional financial stability has opened the door to a very strong growth and places the company in a position to take on the most challenging projects in terms of size, complexity and time constraints.

Engineered Air is currently seeking a full-time in house Recruiter. This position will be located in DeSoto, Kansas.  The ideal candidate should have at least two years of recruiting experience in a technical environment.   Candidate must be able to develop and maintain good relationships with colleges and technical schools.  Having already developed these types of relationships would be a plus.   Engineered Air currently has thirteen sales offices located across the United States therefore this position would require a candidate who can travel on a regular basis.  Must be available to attend career fairs and represent the company in a positive way.

  
Responsibilities:

  • Interview all candidate for any open positions
  • Builds and maintain relationships with colleges and technical schools
  • Assists and supports the employment needs of the company
  • Able to place employment ads using several different resources.
  • Conduct employment verifications and background checks.
  • Work with different sources to find ideal candidates
  • Provides feedback to the company pertaining to what type of candidates are currently in the job market
  • Communicating the firm's image and objectives with potential employees
  • Attend career fairs


Job Requirements

Requirements:  The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  •  2 years of recruiting experience for a technical industry
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Strong people skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with Colleges and Technical Schools
  • Experience attending career fairs and following up with ideal candidates
  • Experience in posting job opening using several different resources
