Purpose of the Job/Principal Responsibilities: The Student Operations Recruiting Manager manages the identification, acquisition, and evaluation of applicants for predominantly nonexempt high volume jobs.
Typical activities for the Recruiting Manager include:
Hire, train, manage and retain a high caliber Human Resources recruiting team. Coach all staff members to deliver outstanding recruiting and staffing services for Student Operations. Administer recruitment strategies for Student Operations. Implement and measure recruitment plans and procedures for staffing as assigned by the Sr. Recruiting Manager and management. Lead all recruitment efforts for nonexempt high volume jobs. Partner with business unit managers to manage recruiting and staffing needs. Builds and maintains a funnel of applicants for non exempt high volume opportunities. Builds rapport with customers and establishes successful customer relationships. Calibrates with HR Business Partners to ensure customer expectations are met. Consults with Hiring Manager regarding selection decision. Ensures each applicant’s progression through the selection process is documented real time in the Applicant Tracking System and audits Recruiter’s performance related to documenting the selection process. Ensures maintenance of all required pre and post hire employment documentation. Responsible for meeting departmental record keeping standards and all compliance objectives. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment and the interviewing process. Manages Recruiter’s adherence to compliance processes, policies, and procedures. Ensures Recruiters are trained on policies, processes, and procedures. Ensures that application files are audited and in compliance with established standards. Assesses and manages Recruiters’ performance based on established performance metrics. Performs other related duties and special projects as required and assigned.

Job Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field 1 year of management or team leader experience in a results driven environment 3 years of staffing experience with 2 years of experience using BrassRing, Taleo, or other Applicant Tracking System 2 years of experience with high volume or call center recruiting Minimum 4 years of Military experience if required to support the Military Team Behavioral interviewing experience Proficient in applicant sourcing, internet research, and passive applicant acquisition Proficient in using MS Office Outlook, Word, and Excel Excellent communication and presentation skills Customer focused Preferred Requirements: Master’s degree in Human Resources or other related field PHR or SPHR certification Measurement of Success: The Recruiting Manager will be evaluated based on (a) meeting position requirements, (b) meeting recruiting and staffing goals, and (c) providing outstanding customer service.
