Job Description
The Regional Loss Prevention Investigator will partner with the Regional Sales Manager, report to the Loss Prevention Manager, and is responsible for protecting company assets, the audit, review & investigation of Wireless Advocates kiosk processes to identify trends that could result in loss. The Investigator will help ensure company compliance standards are maintained through investigations and audits relating to but not limited to inventory loss, paperwork compliance and policy/procedure compliance. Interviewing and investigation of employees that are not meeting company compliance standards and/or are causing loss. Maintaining solid relationships between Costco warehouse Managers and Loss Prevention. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for execution of Loss Prevention initiatives
Review exception based reports to identify high risk locations and develop investigative leads
Conduct theft and loss related investigations and interviews
Maintain complete and accurate case files
Complete exception and trend analysis reports
Audit kiosk paperwork to determine cause and to prevent recurrence of incidents
Define and develop systems that streamline identification of non-compliant transactions
Work with teams to develop and implement consistent training programs
Complete regular remote and onsite audits for policy compliance
Able to demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and professionalism
Develop and maintain exceptional working relationships with all internal and external customers
Job Requirements
Minimum age of 18
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Interview and Interrogation training required (Wicklander – Zulawski techniques preferred)
Minimum of 3 years administrative support experience, preferably with a retail company
Multi-unit experience preferred
Intermediate to Advanced experience in MS Office
Detail oriented with ability to prioritize
Able to demonstrate leadership and execution of plans in a changing environment
Possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Ability to travel up to 50%
