Regional Sales Consultant

As a Regional Sales Consultant for TriNet, your primary mission will be to hunt for new prospects and sell our line of premium benefits, payroll, and HR services. Your target market will be companies with 10-200 employees within technology, financial services, professional services, and life sciences industry sectors. Previous sales hunter experience building relationships with C-Level decision makers within our target market through a complex, consultative, and long sales cycle will ensure your success. A background selling payroll, benefits, benefits administration, accounting, staffing, or other human resources services will be highly valued; although a background in selling other professional business services will also put you ahead of the game. In order to meet his or her prime responsibility of actively developing sales and meeting sales targets, the Regional Sales Consultant establishes him or herself as a trusted advisor in helping clients manage their employees and businesses to higher performance levels.
Job Duties:
- Will be responsible for employing consultative selling and establishing a trusted advisor relationship in order to determine the prospect's needs, raise needs awareness, and involve the prospect in determining how certain capabilities, products and services impact their P&L and ability to efficiently run their organization.
- Utilizing TriNet’s training, tools and technology, the Regional Sales Consultant undertakes the responsibility of securing new clients in a geographic territory.
- Find and develop prospects through networking, referrals, cold calling, business development through support organizations, direct selling, etc.
- The Regional Sales Consultant regimen consists of concurrently moving a number of prospects through sequential stages of awareness, education, interest, and closure.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of three years consultative sales experience and five years of sales experience are required.
- Bilingual in Spanish
- It is critical that the Regional Sales Consultant possess strong financial and analytical skills and be familiar with the economies of operating a small business
- The successful candidate will possess key entrepreneurial traits such as confidence, an inquisitive nature, resiliency, tenacity, high energy, self-reliance, independent thinking, a sense of urgency, persistence, drive, determination and professionalism.
- The successful candidate will be a good conversationalist who is energized by meeting and talking with people.
- Experience using sales contact management systems (Salesforce.com or equivalent) to support the sales process is mandatory. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite is also required.
- Must be able to work on a team as well as be able to work independently.
- Excellent skills in the areas of time management, organization and professional presentations are very important.
