Role Description: Prospect and close viable/value adding merchant transaction processing relationships to meet and/or exceed established sales targets measured by quantity of new customer accounts and number of products/services sold to support the annual sales revenue and profitability objectives of First National Merchant Solutions (FNMS).
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting calling campaigns; appointments; presentations and proposals to prospective customers. Identify needs, and sell FNMS products and services to defined target market and customer segmentation. Expected monthly revenue generation: 4 - 5K+
· Meet and/or exceed defined sales goals/standard of performance for business development to to include:
. Daily quantity of outbound prospecting calls to qualified prospects, minimum location sales, prospect visitations and presentations.
. Quantity of monthly product sales
. Monthly profit margin minimums
. Leverage existing network of clientele to identify and prospect new business referrals.
· Develop and maintain a consistent sales pipeline
· Track required business development activity accurately and in a timely manner using the business development tracking tools/database. (Ongoing â€" daily)
· Ensure all required reporting data elements are present and accurately reflect the revenue and profitability opportunity.
2. Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge and understanding of the acquiring/credit card industry and FNMS products and services. (Ongoing)
· Attend product and services training opportunities (As assigned/scheduled by manager or supervisor)
· Demonstrate proficiency with the use of all job aides (physical and electronic)
· Attend ongoing training provided by FNMS to gain understanding of industry and Products and services
· Maintain awareness, through First Hand News, of all new development of products, services, and internal changes in policy, technology and sales initiatives.
· Maintain awareness of industry trending through industry publications such as Card Line.
- Work collaboratively with all FNMS Sales and Relationship Management representatives to ensure prospective clientele and new customers are provided the appropriate sales representation and are effectively onboarded into Relationship Management.
· Identify and communicate to appropriate departments potential 3rd Party Association and Value Added Reseller (VAR) partnership opportunities for future FNMS business.
· Coordinate the delivery of new customer information to facilitate further cross sales opportunities and effective client onboarding
- Collect and escalate customer feedback to to support the development and enhancement of products and services that would enable FNMS to gain additional business and competitive advantages.
