Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab, Rotating to General Acute rehab, outpt

I am currently working for a hospital NEAR the New Braunfels area helping them find qualified and professional Occupational Therapists interested in securing a full-time or part time permanent position. This is an opportunity to rotate through inpatient rehab and general acute care, as well as some outpatient.

The Manager has been there for 15yrs and most of her staff has been there for at least 8yrs or more!! The manager is able to make sure that they have the best patient quality care. She runs the department the way she feels it should be without any influence from a “corporate" mentality. She makes sure the focus is on the continuity of care for the patients.

The manager is very hands on and helps out if they are ever short-staffed or if the staff just needs a helping hand.  The department works really well together because she fosters a team environment.  There is also alot of flexibility in the schedule and minimum weekend hours.

The Therapists are seeing the general population for IPRU such as CVA’s and total hips. They also rotate in the general acute care so they see a mix bag of patients. They use modalities and manual therapy for the patients. And they have access to the out patient clinics equipment as well if needed.
