Job Description
- Provides direct patient care in the ER setting.
- Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
- Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Performs general nursing duties in all ER areas with adequate supervision.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Provides service to age range from neonate to Adult.
Job Requirements
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience of 1-2 years Medical/Surgical/ICU/E.D./OR/PACU/OPS/NICU preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
- Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or training for Geropsych, ER
- Current ACLS required for ICU, ER, OR, PACU, OPS
- Current PALS required for ER and Pedi. NRP required for NICU, L&D, Nursery & Post Partum
- Current BLS certification in all areas
- Other experience/technical skills as assigned.
