Function:
To provide nursing care, utilizing the nursing process, to an assigned group of patients.
General Statement of Responsibility:
Responsible for gathering health assessment data to determine patient problems/needs; and establishing an individual interdisciplinary plan of care. Measurable outcomes are incorporated through collaboration with the patient, family, significant others, and members of the health care team.
Job Requirements
Education: Graduate of a school of nursing
Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge and ability to effectively implement and document nursing theory, practice, and principles. Good communication and interaction skills.
Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year nursing experience
Special Requirements: Current licensure or permit by the state Board of Nursing, driver’s license, CPR certification, and automobile liability insurance
