CCMS is a small, woman owned and nurse managed Healthcare Staffing Company based in Bala Cynwyd, PA. We competitively compete for and staff Government Contracts for Healthcare workers inside Military Treatment Facilities, Federal Prisons, and VA Medical Centers.

We are seeking a Patient Safety Specialist to work at the Naval Medical Center San Diego to plan, develop, implement, manage, and coordinate the Patient Safety Program.  Work in collaboration with the Office of Organizational Performance Improvement and Risk Management to ensure that risk reduction strategies and improvement recommendations are carried through.

Pt Safety Specialist will participate in problem assessment, solution recommendation, implementation, and follow up on corrective actions.

Review and monitor the Pt Safety policies of all areas for adherence to and compliance with regulatory agency and accreditation standards requirements.

Full time position Monday through Friday days.  No evening, nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.  Full benefits available including health, dental, paid time off, federal holiday paid time off, life insurance, long term disability, 401k, AFLAC. 

Job Requirements

1) Current, unrestricted RN license required.

2) BSN or other bachelors degree in one of the health sciences.

3) Must have at least one year experience in risk management, patient safety, or quality management to include experience in the clinical setting or direct care environment.
