Job Description
Classification: Full-time
Compensation: $110000 to $125000 per year
This large insurance company is seeking a Manager for the Management Reporting team. This company has hired over 20 people to their Accounting & Finance team this year alone, and these were all new positions. This company is growing quickly and needs to continue to add strong accountants to their team.
In this position you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Pension and 401K Plan Reporting Process. You will also support the Management Reporting function, including the Board of Directors and Reporting Processes.
To be qualified for this position you need a Bachelors degree in Accounting and you also must have your CPA. Five plus years experience working in accounting, with emphasis in the health insurance industry and dealing with regulatory Agencies, and Financial Reporting is strongly preferred, as well as having excellent systems skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and PeopleSoft.
This is a large and growing environment, so you must be able to work in a fluid environment that can present many new projects or changes. You must be outgoing and personable because this is how the team operates and it is important to them for this key position to integrate well with everyone.
