SAP -
Basis, ABAP/4, FICO, Project Manager| Columbia,

Project Overview:
Project
Team to Upgrade the current SAP Financial (FICO-GL) system from version 4.6C to
ECC 6.0 on new hardware with a 2 server systems landscape (1 Production Server
and 1Test Server providing Development and Test instances). The project will
also upgrade the database from 9i to 10G and conduct Unicode conversion of the
data on all database instances (Development, Test and Production). All
functionality will need to be moved to the new landscape as is. No new or
additional functionality will need to be provided.Setting up of the new
hardware and operating system and making the new server hardware ready for the
install/upgrade will not be in scope for the project.The upgrade will move the
existing system landscape from one HPUX RP2470 (OS 11.11) to two HPUX Itanium
Blade Servers(OS 11.31). The existing environment remain intact until the
migration to the new environment is complete.
SAP Basis Technical Team Lead - 3269-1
The
Senior SAP Technical Consultant will have significant BASIS and Oracle DB
experience and will be performing the database upgrade (Oracle 9i to 10G) and
system upgrade (SAP FI-GL from 4.6C to ECC6.0). The consultant will also be
making the environment Unicode compliant on all database instances. The
consultant will install SAP Solutions Manager and migrate existing
configurations, company codes, authorizations, programs/reports, transactions,
menus and screens onto the new upgraded landscape. The consultant will work
closely with the Functional Consultant and ABAP Technical Consultant to ensure
that the upgraded system fulfills all the required business functionality that
existed in the earlier system. It is preferred that this resource be SAP
certified and have experience with several previously similar SAP FI-GL implementations/upgrades.
SAP Functional Consultant - 3270-1
This Senior SAP
Functional Consultant will have significant experience in the FI-GL area, good
knowledge of Financial/Investment Accounting policies/procedures and several
successful GL implementations and upgrades under the belt. The consultant
working closely with the project team and business users will document business
processes, procedures, workflows and create test scripts and testing scenarios.
The consultant will perform unit, integration and system testing on sandbox
dev, test and production environments to ensure that the upgraded system
fulfills all the required business functionality that existed in the earlier
system prior to cut-over. The consultant will assist business users during
acceptance testing and create new or update existing user documentation. Prefer
someone who is SAP certified and familiar with functionality changes from 4.6C
to ECC6.0 although functional changes are not in the scope of this project.
Job Requirements
SAP ABAP/4 Team Lead Consultant - 3271-1
This
Senior SAP Technical Consultant will have strong ABAP programming skills and
work with the project team performing the technical upgrade of SAP (FI-GL) 4.6C
to ECC6.0. The consultant will provide any needed remediation of ABAP for both
standard SAP and custom developed programs and screens. The consultant will
perform necessary modification and unit testing of standard SAP/custom DDIC
objects, custom interfaces (ALV, BDC, RFC), custom ABAP reports/programs,
transactions, menus and screens. The consultant will convert and port existing
drill down reports written in Report Painter. The consultant will also install,
configure and integrate GUIXT with the business workflow screens and perform
other tasks deemed in scope of the SAP Upgrade. Prefer someone who is SAP
certified and has experience with several previous SAP
Implementations/Upgrades.
SAP Project Manager - 3271-1
P roject Management Consultant will be
experienced with the “ASAP for Upgrade" project management methodology and must
have worked on several similar upgrades. The consultant will work closely with
the SCRS Project Manager to develop a detailed Upgrade project plan which would
include: WBS (tasks list), scope statement, resources, utilization, schedule
and cost. The consultant working with the SCRS Project Manager will be involved
in managing the ongoing plan implementation and will track schedule/cost,
measure performance using EVA, identify variances and implement course
corrections. It is anticipated that this consultant will be heavily involved
early on in the project to lay out the project plan and on an “as needed" basis
during the project lifecycle.
