Currently, KSR has an opening for a Greenhouse Research Associate position as a full-time temporary assignment with a major biotechnology company in Indianapolis, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION: FULL-TIME 6 MONTH CONTRACT LOCATION: Northwest Indianapolis, Indiana
Primary focus of position includes but not limited to) working on a cotton project. Tasks may include seeding, watering, pruning, pest scouting, staking, tissue sampling, transplanting, labeling, harvesting, cut down, devitilization prep.
In addition, other possible tasks may include: delivery of soil & seeded pots to greenhouses, seeding pots, watering greenhouses, devitalization of plant material, pollinations, shootbagging, harvesting, ordering supplies, greenhouse maintenance, housekeeping, data entry, transplanting, cleaning seed, germination testing, assisting in shredding of soil, soil production, tracking of greenhouse space, seed processing, seed inventory, meetings, safety.
