Job Description
Heritage Christian Services is currently hiring resident counselors.
Responsibilities include:
• Supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living skills that
include personal care, household tasks, grocery shopping, etc
• Provides assistance with the primary health, personal care, and physical care as needed
• Supports people with a variety of activities throughout the Rochester area, such as church
attendance, shopping, spending time with friends, sporting events, movies, dinner, etc
• Implements individual service plans and documenting accordingly
Locations:
• Employees are assigned to one site. Homes are located throughout Monroe, Erie and Niagara
Counties
Hours: 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends and overnights
Monday through Friday Evenings or Overnights
Saturday and Sunday All hours

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Great social skills and ability to relate well with others
• Strong communication skills
• Valid, clean driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Physical ability to lift and transfer individuals that rely on wheelchairs for mobility
• High school diploma or equivalent
