Long term care experience in a high volume rehab setting is preferred. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, committed to excellence in both clinical proficiency and customer service.
The Assistant Director of Nursing is to serve as Director of Nursing in the absence of the Director and provides assistance to the Director in the performance of assigned functions and responsibilities.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Directing and coordinating the provision of nursing care to residents consistent with standard nursing practices.
- Assuring the provision of treatments, medications, and nursing services according to care plans and physician’s instructions.
- Contributing to the orientation and professional development of nursing staff.
- Acting for the Director as assigned in directing the activities of nursing staff.
- Participating in assessment and evaluation of nursing services and nursing staff.
- Assisting with nursing service quality assessment and assurance functions and activities.
- Coordinating services with interdisciplinary team.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Job Requirements
Must be an RN with valid license in the state of MO.
