Our client has a broad practice in the areas of regulatory law, litigation, and business transactions, serving both domestic and international clients. They are pioneers in the use of interdisciplinary approaches to problem-solving. They have a scientific staff that works closely with the firm's attorneys on matters of technical complexity.
CHEMIST
We are searching for a Chemist with a strong background in packaging, chemicals or plastics industries for non-laboratory position with an international law firm. Candidate will assist attorneys and other staff scientists in servicing a broad range of companies that make products for use with food, drugs, and medical devices.
Job Requirements
- Working knowledge of statistics and organic, polymer, paper and analytical chemistry
- Graduate Degree in Chemistry
- Ph.D. degree preferred or equivalent experience in industry or government
- Familiarity with government health and safety regulations (particularly FDA and EPA)
- Ability to write clearly and deal with people effectively
- Creative approach to analytical chemistry problems
