RN Quality Coordinator / Infection Control

 We are currently seeking an RN Quality Coordinator/Infection Control

to join our team in Plano, TX!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and implementing the performance improvement program to meet the needs of the hospital.
• Facilitate performance improvement activities and CQI activities throughout the hospital. 
• Assist department managers with preparation for medical staff committees.
• Assist with preparation for all regulatory body surveys, e.g., Joint Commission, Texas Department of State Health Services, state licensing review, CMS validation surveys.
• Responsible for the identification, reporting, prevention and control of healthcare associated infections among patients and staff.

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Quality Management/Infection Control. 
• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification in health quality or infection control preferred.
• Has knowledge of CDC guidelines and definitions of healthcare associated infections among patients and staff.
• Ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge, word processing and database management experience preferable.
