Medical Center of Lewisville - Lewisville POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the director/manager or designee, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified needs. Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in a manner consistent with the mission of the hospital. Minimum 72hrs per pay period. Participants in the Seasonal Program are required to have one year of previous experience. Two holiday shifts are required (defined by Department Manager or Designee) and 2 weekend shifts are required each 4 week period. Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There is no guarantee of hours by the hospital. Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy. Staff members classified in the Seasonal Program are not eligible for Critical Need Bonus payments nor is there a completion bonus. Registered Nurses and Respiratory Therapists, who are in the Seasonal Program, will have one opportunity to pass the PBDS assessment.
