Rockland Community College Rockland Community College, a unit of the State University of New York, located 25 miles from New York City in the lower Hudson Valley, is seeking to fill the following position: DEAN of STUDENT PERSONNEL SERVICES The Dean is accountable for developing a comprehensive program for student development programs and services. Directly supervising the Counseling Center, the Dean is responsible for the administration and interpretation of professional assessment instruments and direct guidance to students in academic and personal circumstances. With retention as a major focus, he/she will oversee Academic Intervention, Advising, Career Services, and Prevention Resource Center. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree required, Doctorate preferred, in Higher Education Administration, Counseling, College Student Personnel or related field for either degree; five years or more experience coordinating counseling and student support services and staff. Starting Salary. $78,000 â€" 104,000
