TITLE: Facility Manager
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Regional Operations Manager
LOCATION: New York, NY
Summary: Primary responsibilities include management and maintenance of the assigned facility. This includes coordination of installation vendors, by scheduling plant and customer builds. Scheduling of plant maintenance and customer installations are also required of this position, due to the ever changing needs of a telecommunications facility.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintain critical plant to guarantee facility uptime.
2. Maintain cleaning schedule for facility appearance.
3. Coordinate package logistics with Project Management and Facility Coordination teams.
4. Address any emergency maintenance facility issues by coordinating vendor or internal repair efforts.
5. Schedule customer notifications for planned or unplanned plant maintenance.
6. Oversee regular hour and after hour plant maintenance.
7. Interface with HVAC, Emergency back-up and Power vendors.
8. Prepare and maintain a Program Maintenance program for all facility power and HVAC plant.
9. Schedule vendor and internal efforts to measure and monitor facility and customer AC and DC power consumption.
10. Obtain vendor proposals for Plant maintenance projects and repairs.
11. Inspect vendor work for completeness, accuracy and code compliance.
12. Assist tech support and installation team members in solving non-routine project issues.
13. Assist tech support and installation team members in completing customer installations.
14. Responsible for coordination of building management services, consisting of freight elevator reservations, restricted property access, customer access and ID card generation.
15. Provide technical support for Sales team during customer tours conducted within the facility.
