Job Description
Spherion's client is an innovator in the sale and distribution of rigid packaging and is looking for a Sales Assistant in their Custom Solutions division.
Responsibilities include:

Working closely as a team with Sales Representatives, other Sales Assistants and Company Departments

Building customer relationships

Accurate computer entry of Sales and Purchase Orders

Expediting and tracking delivery of product
-
Monitoring and sourcing the orders
-
Maintaining all customer service records
-
Problem-solving
-
Answering numerous telephone calls, emails, and faxes
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Prior experience in Customer Service setting (2-3 years preferred)

Ability to handle inbound calls, make outbound calls, process purchase orders, resolve customer problems, assist Sales Reps, prioritize work, and multi- task

Must be computer proficient - we have a complex in-house system that must be learned very quickly

Microsoft experience in OUTLOOK and EXCEL
Friendly personality and excellent interpersonal skills a must!
