Job Description

 

Well established, private asset management firm overseeing billions in private capital for families, individuals, foundations and endowments is growing and expanding its multi-branch offices.

We are seeking qualified, currently employed, sales / business development professionals with excellent relationship management career history, consistently earning 6-figure income throughout their career.  This is a true hunter with successful C-level, face-to-face sales presentations and a history of building trusted relationships with prospects, transforming them into loyal clients.   

Take this success to the next level in an executive consultative sales role developing new business providing unparalleled client service based on experience and research.

COMPENSATION:  Base Salary: 150K+ Commission

NOTE: (2-3 Year Ramp Up - Not Unusual For Reps make 300K+ after 3 years.)

 


Job Requirements

IDEAL CANDIDATE:  Successful, Progressive Sales Career, Currently earning in excess of $200K (Documented 3 years' W2s & single highest year's comp required); well connected in his/her community (proven track record or network of contacts) developing clients willing to invest more than $300K+. 

BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS

Sales background where prospects are pursued versus the prospect coming to you!

Some exposure to Financial Services industry in work history (either selling to the financial services industry or working in capital markets highly preferred. 

Successful candidates will also have experience in the following industries: Technology, Medical Devices, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Venture Capital.) NOTE: No candidates with a STOCK BROKER/TRADER/BACKGROUND

MBA preferred; 4 year Degree – A Must

MUST HAVE CURRENT, STRONG SALES EXPERIENCE (even if you have moved into management)

NOT MORE THAN 2 JOBS in the past 7 years

NOT MORE THAN a 3 month gap of employment

High Preference given to those candidates who reside in CURRENT METRO AREA for at least the last 7 years and have an established network of contacts.

Memberships in professional organizations, clubs, charities, civic organizations, etc., offering additional networking - a big plus!

Must possess 10+ years of professional sales experience in targeted industries

Must possess excellent communication skills; documented book of business success.

Able to be trained / tested / certified in Series 7, 31 and 66 securities exams.

No Travel required.
