Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of basic food ingredients used by most food companies across all product lines. The sales person will support sales functions at current clients and prospect throughout the northeast as well as major food processing areas for new customers.
It is expected that the sales effort to develop new business will require 30 to 40% travel. The rest of the time will be spent at the company's offices in NYC and at your own home office.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate must have at lease 3 years of sales experience calling on the research and product development departments of industrial companies. A chemistry or biology degree is preferred but not necessary.
