POSITION SUMMARY
This position would be responsible for the maintenance, design and development of our core products Dart and Arrow and any new products we are developing. The position would entail a large amount of SAS development on our Arrow product, developing pages, chapters and packages of reports for our clients, as well as some development on the application that loads terabytes of data into our online reporting tool, Dart.
This position requires someone who is willing to take initiatives and get things done, but also knows how to work with a team and communicate plans and ideas to others. You will be working with a team that provides specifications for your work and will be working with a QA team to make sure that all work is complete and accurate. Our team and environment can be fast paced, so you ll need to learn to adapt to changing requirements and help support our internal staff as well as our clients. This role will be responsible for a large majority of the Arrow development of packages, chapters or reports that are requested of us by our clients, as well as work on our existing online reporting software or new applications that interface with these products.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED
At least 3 years experience working full-time in an application development role.
Experience working on a UNIX or Linux environment, and has familiarity with the command-line, writing and running shell scripts.
Some basic familiarity with Perl, Java and MySQL are a plus as you ll be integrating some code with existing systems.
Having SAS or SCL is a plus, but not required.
Worked with source control systems and familiar with good development methodologies.
Experience working on a team of developers, adhering to coding and design standards.
