Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE To provide technical assistance to member institutions and community groups concerning the Affordable Housing Program as well as the Community Investment Program. To assist in preparation of departmental marketing materials and in the evaluation and selection of Affordable Housing Program applications. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Participates in the analysis, review, and selection of Affordable Housing program applications. 2. Provide technical assistance to member institutions, non-profit organizations and community/government leaders, within a specified territory, on the features and uses of the Affordable Housing Program. 3. Provide direction to the other analysts on complex issues regarding applications, modifications or fundings. 4. Analyze complex multi-family rental project disbursements to ensure project is viable for funding for assigned territory. 5. Provide the AHP Manager with updates and status reports on project completion/modification within assigned territory. Make recommendations concerning the continued viability. 6. Analyze and review project status reports and other information to ensure that projects are in compliance with AHP regulations and departmental policies. 7. Develop a working knowledge of the Bank's other products and services, especially those offered by the Community Investment Department. 8. Participate in various speaking engagements and promotional appearances. 9. Develop and maintain knowledge of local, state and national programs that are involved in affordable housing development; provide assistance and update policies and procedures to ensure effective administration of the Affordable Housing Program. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. JOB SPECIFICATIONS. 1. Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Urban Planning or Finance. 2. NDC or other comparable professional housing certification strongly preferred. 3. 4-6 years experience in housing development, mortgage, or commercial finance or other demonstrated affordable housing experience. 4. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. 5. Experience with personal computers including spreadsheet, and word processing. Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.
