We are currently seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for our Transportation/Infrastructure Program in one of our Transportation / Infrastructure offices. We are looking for candidates that are interested in one of our following office locations: Jacksonville, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Austin, Dallas or Tallahassee. The duties of this position are to organize and monitor labor budgets for assigned projects, mentor junior staff as appropriate, circulate assigned bridge project deliverable schedule and labor budget status to supervisor and relevant staff to ensure ongoing communication, meet project deliverable dates and budget for assigned projects and provide Quality Control on all assigned project deliverables. Candidate must have the ability to develop / build upon working relationships with clients and other engineering consultants, and participation on technical committees of national professional organizations is preferred.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis)
- Master’s degree with Structures emphasis a plus
- 5+ years experience in Segmental bridge design and/or post-design experience
- 12+ total years of civil/bridge design experience a plus
- Florida PE
- Experience utilizing Microstation a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Design/Build or contractor/construction engineering experience a plus
