Professional Services Manager of technical projects will support data center systems, server and network migrations, and/or integration.

-Requires functional awareness of Windows, Linux, Unix, AIX, Windows, Oracle, SQL, Apache or related systems in a Production enviornment.

-Understands delivery and lifecycle processes associated with System Builds and Implementation,

-Defines Test and Transition To Operations procedures and delivered systems from Build to Fully Managed Production services

-Works on and familiar with transition requirements from build/test phase to a 24 x 7 Operations Center staff

 -Will have experience with various data center level migrations including systems and network migrations, including single site-site or DC consolidation (many to few).

-Will have worked on medium to large scale systems migrations or upgrades (expansion, upgrades, deployment).

-Familiar working with network carriers and their processes for implementation and deployment

-Exerts leadership, can assess situations and can make project course changes or recommend decisions for the benefit the project.

-Candidate will have worked with Resource Deployment groups, understands requirements to request and manage shared PS resources on multiple projects. 

-Candidate will have worked and managed temporary resources or 3^rd party resources across matrixed environment

-Candidate will have worked in supporting a Director or  CIO level client in a vendor or consulting PM role. 

-When requested, create scopes estimates including description of work, resource type and timeline.

-Regularly creates and uses project plans, uses and manages to MS Project.

-Creates consistent status reports and progress metrics

 -Able to create and track weekly time sheets for engineering resources and provide roll up routine progress reports.

-Has experience in creating and delivering Invoice sheets complete with costs and scope vs actuals reporting.  

-Manage budget and resources, track, manage and resolve issues and risks.

-Ensure systems are successfully migrated, manage transition to Operations and provide consistent status on the project through its lifecycle.

• In progress of certification or has achieved PMP or PRINCE2 certification. 
  
  
  

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent expereince

  
  
  

• 5-7 years of overall PM experience

  
  
  

• 2+ years working in a Professional Services Org supporting revenue generating projects.
