Job Description
We are Enhanced Care Initiatives (ECI), a publicly held specialty care management firm with a unique focus and depth of application. Our IT division is expanding in the New York City market and we are looking for dynamic individuals to join our growing team.
Reporting to the Director of Informatics, the Senior IT Specialist will be responsible for:
- Performing software testing for regression and enhancements
- Assisting in the collection, evaluation, and development of work plans for user requests
- Establishing cooperative and collaborative relationships
- Project based work with a focus on goals and timelines
- Conducting new user training on site and via WebX
- Participating in new product development
- PC Equipment Deployment
- IT HelpDesk Service
- Understanding of Windows imaging builds for PC
- Solid knowledge of MS Office suites
- Assisting in outcome reporting process as needed
- All other duties as assigned
- Travel 25%
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare terminology, preferably experience in a healthcare work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Information technology experience, preferably teaching software and beta testing
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Intermediate to Advance with Microsoft Office 2003/2007
- Strong Microsoft Outlook support
- Strong knowledge of PC Hardware.
- Knowledge of IT Helpdesk Support
- SharePoint experience a plus
