We are currently seeking a talented Senior Payroll Representative for our San Antonio, TX facility. As a Senior Payroll Representative for USAA you will work under general direction, responds to complex benefit and pay programs. Ensures that appropriate documentation is prepared to ensure new and existing employee changes can be processed, you will answer questions about various benefits and pay related mailings and communications; May perform research to achieve problem resolution; Requires extensive knowledge of organization benefit and pay programs and the payroll process. Job Duties: - Assists team with problem resolution of complex PS, Payroll, Benefits and Operational program inquiries.
- Performs various administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by the team coordinator or Management.
- Assist team coordinator in the daily operational workflow and training of current and new team members.
Minimum Requirements: - 3 years of customer service experience.
- 3 years of relevant HR experience or equivalent HR college coursework.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred: - 3+ years of Payroll Experience in a multi-state environment.
- Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel and Word
- 3 or more years experience in a customer service oriented environment.
- 2 or more years experience with processing payroll in PeopleSoft.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the fundamentals of payroll taxes and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex payroll issues.
- FPC or CPP.
