The Senior Pricing Analyst (SPA) is a key player in the Company’s effort to maximize long-term operating profits. To accomplish this, the SPA provides detailed analytical support to support the Strategic Pricing Initiative for a complex array of product lines across multiple distribution channels. Additionally, the SPA applies his/her expertise to create a sustainable process for setting and administering the pricing function with a focus on price response estimation and price optimization, as well as to contribute to the team by completing routine price maintenance activities. This is a high profile role, and the SPA will partner closely with Marketing, Sales and Innovation and Product Development to advance the Company’s profitability.
Job Requirements
To become a vital member of our team, a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Quantitative/Statistical Mathematics is required, with MBA preferred. A minimum of eight years of analytical experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of pricing analysis in Consumer Durable Goods is essential. A CPP designation or progress towards a CPP is preferred and training in Six Sigma or LEAN is highly beneficial. Advanced knowledge of developing complex financial models incorporating statistical analysis, as well as Excel, Access, and relational database query tools are absolute necessities. Additionally, excellent analytical and problems solving skills, a sense of urgency and an ability to interact with all levels of associates and work in a team-oriented environment with a service attitude are all essential to success. The incumbent must be willing to embrace change and able to implement change.
