Job Description
Summary
Responsible for strategic sourcing for Business Services Commodities and providing direct support to the Director of General Procurement & P.O.S. by negotiating contracts for goods and services and coordinating requirements with suppliers. Ensure national programs are implemented across North America through the Business Unit procurement teams. Business Services Commodities include but are not limited to: Office Supplies, Uniforms, Time Sensitive Delivery, Corporate Printing, Records Information Management, Recruitment and Relocation.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with national and/or global suppliers.
- Serve as liaison between supplier and internal clients ensuring client satisfaction and through escalation of supplier or implementation issues, oversee supplier integration with the business units, and ensure early involvement in the development of new processes, designs, strategies and alliances.
- Provides Global lead and direction to cross functional teams.
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly procurement reporting to support and ensure compliance to Company policies.
- Researches and recommends services and/or goods that provide the most value-add to Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc., including pricing strategies, financial analysis, supplier selection criteria and relevant data, available delivery channels, environmental impact and other needed information.
- Maintains awareness of relevant industry and technological trends.
- Manages supplier selection and performance.
- Evaluate supplier performance on an ongoing basis.
- Manage %2460 Million plus spend
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven analytical skills
- The ability to work across the enterprise and provide superior customer service to internal clients.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor';s Degree in procurement or a related field; or equivalent experience required.
- Master';s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of general procurement or indirect procurement experience required.
Functional and/or subject matter expertise in operation or engineering preferred.
