Senior Project Manager/ Bridge Engineer
Jacobs is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager/ Bridge Engineer to be located in our New York (Manhattan) office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise the structure group and preparation of project deliverables.
- Coordinate and direct use of professional and technical staff assigned in the preparation of designs and project documents.
- Provide technical interface with Clients
- In addition, candidate needs to manage projects, engage in business development, project pursuits, preparation of proposals, and presentation materials.
Job Requirements
Training and Experience
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 20+ years of bridge design and project management experience.
- Professional Engineering License
- 20 + yrs experience in the analysis, design and construction of all types of steel and concrete bridges
- 5+ years of experience with large bridge rehabilitation projects
Additional Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience with TBTA, NYSDOT, NYCDOT and/or PANYNJ.
- Masters Degree in Structural engineering preferred
- Should have experience in the supervision and development of staff
- Should have excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong technical skills overall
