Foremost Machine Builders, Inc., an established Northern New Jersey machinery manufacturer has a Field Service position open to support its installed base of plastics industry auxiliary equipment.

The person filling this position will be responsible for customer technical support, Quality Assurance inspection and laboratory testing from our home office and field service/start-up at customers facilities.

As part of our engineering team, you will participate in product development/improvement initiatives and product documentation and instruction.

Job Requirements

A qualified candidate will have good communication skills and a minimum of 3 years experience troubleshooting industrial machinery or military hardware, either electrically, mechanically, or both.

 Knowledge of PLC’s, ladder logic and C based industrial control programs, A.C. Drives and blueprint reading skills are preferred.  General computer skills will be helpful.  Training will be provided in industry equipment, systems and processes.

This is a “hands on" position and so a good general knowledge of electro-mechanical principles and tools is necessary.

The position will require up to 50% overnight domestic travel and occasional foreign travel.
