Job Description

The SharePoint Consultant will plan and execute detailed tasks on projects related to implementing and extending MOSS solutions for clients. You will be responsible for customer interactions, understanding the client's business and will participate in full life cycle development. Each Consultant will be placed on a project team that will develop SharePoint solutions for clients. You will also be expected to participate in team building and to develop team and client relationships. Consulting work will be primarily performed at client sites. Some amount of overnight travel (approximately 25% to 50%) is involved. Responsibilities: Gather, understand and document client requirements. Prepare for and actively participate in client meetings. Understand business processes and how technology enables those processes. Design and implement business solutions using SharePoint Technologies. Design and develop data conversion/migration strategies and programs. Train end users to use new business applications. Lead small project teams

Job Requirements

Education, Certifications and Experience: 4 year degree in business, MIS or equivalent preferred Minimum of 2 to 3 years project experience implementing SharePoint technologies (MOSS, SPS, WSS) required Project experience with MOSS required including: o SharePoint Designer o InfoPath forms o Workflow o Business Data Catalog o Excel Services Microsoft Certifications in SharePoint highly preferred Additional experience in these technologies preferred: o Design Skills (Process Flow, Data Flow, ERD) o Microsoft Visual Basic .Net or C# o JavaScript/VBScript / HTML/DHTML o Database Skills (Microsoft SQL Server, ADO, T-SQL, Stored Procedures) o IIS Admin o XML/XSLT o Microsoft SQL Server Administrationo SQL Reporting Service (SRS) Large consulting firm experience preferred Profile for Success: Professional demeanor Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills Entrepreneurial attitude: self-motivated, self-directed Flexibility: task assignment, priorities, work environment Open minded, desire to learn (including new technologies) Quick thinker, creative problem solver Willingness to do some traveling Detail oriented, Strong analytical, numerical, planning and reasoning abilities Ability to work independently and on a team NO THIRD PARTIES or H1 Candidates!!!!Please submit resumes directly to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] with 5537556 (the Job Reference Code) in the email subject line.At Consultis we value our potential candidates and strive to build a lasting relationship based on hard work, trust and ethics from both sides.
