Connections Academy launched a school in South Carolina in 200809 under contract to the South Carolina Connections Academy Charter School. SCCA is a South Carolina's very first virtual charter school, authorized by the new South Carolina Public Charter School District. The school serves students in grades K12 from anywhere in South Carolina. 92.8% of all CA parents rated the program an "A" or "B" for the 2008-2009 school year.

Position Summary and Responsibilities
Working from their home, the Speech Language Pathologist will provide virtual speech therapy to students K-12 throughout the state of South Carolina. You will be responsible for planning and implementing therapy in a virtual environment, communicating with the student's learning coach and teachers, and participation in the IEP process. The Speech Language Pathologist will connect with your students using webcams and web conferencing software, while using the school's Learning Management System to manage their caseload and minimize paperwork.

Job Requirements

Requirements
• MA or MS and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
• PA State Licensure in Speech Pathology
• 1+ years experience in school setting
• Strong technology skills
• High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently
