Position Summary
The Speech Therapist will provide speech therapy to pre-school or school-age children in a school-based setting.
Position Accountabilities
Reporting to the Speech Supervisor, the Speech Therapist is responsible for providing speech services to pre-school and school-age children while ensuring all mandated reports are completed within appropriate timeframes; maintains effective interpersonal relationships with team members, department members, supervisors, administrative staff, parents and outside agencies.
Hours of Work: Monday through Friday. Hours and days of work are subject to departmental and consumer needs.
Job Requirements
A Masters in Speech Language Pathology, NYS License/Certification in Speech Pathology, Completed Clinical Certification (CCC), Valid Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped Certification (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech language Disabilities (TSSLD), and pediatric experience required.
