Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field. 2 years of relevant experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for providing intermediate analysis and documentation, formulating logical statements of business and management problems, and providing solutions utilizing more efficient operational procedure, work flow, and information technology solutions.
Salary Range
From $52,453.00 To $69,000.00 Annually
Specific Job Related Duties
Ability to self-motivate; prioritize work and lead as well as work within a team
Determine user requirements, analyze user workflow, design application to meet system specifications
Maintain existing web links within EMR application
Provide analytical and development support for UTMB�s Epic Electronic Medical Record System
Perform assigned tasks such as modifications to existing and/or definition of new orderable procedures
Maintain master files and system tables
Modify existing functionality based on client requests
Perform application testing
Provide end-user system support
Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Work Experience
Four years minimum experience. Prefer two years experience in either clinical patient care environment or clinical information systems.
Workflow and business process analysis experience is a positive attribute.
