SR. CLINICAL TECHNICAL TRAINER

COMPANY INFO:
MedFocus offers clinical research contract outsourcing and staffing specifically to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. We specialize in the nationwide recruitment of clinical trials personnel.

Our client is committed to earning the trust of doctors, patients and customers every day and is seeking to add a Sr. Clinical Technical Trainer to their team in Summit, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Delivers stand-up/classroom training for one or more specific function areas:  Clinical Regulatory and/or Pharmacovigilance
•    Assists the Learning and Development Staff in identifying needs for training programs and materials
•    Works with SME and instructional designer to ensure adjunct learning principles and course design are included for effective delivery
•    Approves and validates training content
•    Pilots training materials and programs
•    Develops course evaluation tools to ensure knowledge transfer, course structure, and miscellaneous feedback
•    Ensures that training sessions are captured (i.e., attendance sheets, LMS)
•    Explores new technologies to enhance training
•    Sits on applicable document review committees to represent and work across functions
•    Stays current within subject field to continuously improve courseware and skill sets to enhance training capabilities
•    Develops or reviews course content, as necessary

Job Requirements

•    BS Degree required.
•    6+ years training delivery experience required
•    Pharma industry experience required in one of the following fields:  clinical operations, pharmacovigilance, and /or regulatory affairs
•    In-depth knowledge and understanding of training concepts, program development, curriculum development, instructional design
•    Valid Passport
•    Proficiency in MS Office
•    Comfort with training modalities
•    Understanding of instructional systems training design/development (ADDIE/ISD)
•    Basic knowledge of ALP
•    Knowledgeable about evaluation processes/methodologies
•    Ability to offer SME to the development of courses
