Classification: Full Time

Compensation: $60000 to $85000 per year

GREAT CLIENT - WONDERFUL WORK ENVIRONMENT - CHALLENGING JAVA WEB DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY ..seeks Sr Java Web Developer.....the right candidate will lead the design and development effort for all web applications. Mentor other developers on best coding practices. Collaborate with other departments on application design. Provide estimates of development in support of project schedules. Document application design and processes. Responsible for other duties as assigned by the Web Development Manager. Candidate will have a minimum 7+ years experience developing object oriented enterprise applications, preferably in a J2EE environment, minimum 4 + years experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and developing web services. 2+ years architechting enterprise level databases. Bachelor's degree in a related IT field or equivalent experience required. Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers required.Experience in a continuous integration environment with tools such as Ant, JUnit, JDepend, and PMD. Knowledge of Struts and Financial Industry a plus.Requires teamwork and dedication to developing strong relationships with co workers. Must have excellent people, verbal, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate well in writing and orally required along with being self motivated, dedicated, and reliable. The company has strong benefits, 401K and is an excellent place to work.
