We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager in our Marketing Department for our Statistics list and pan Math Technology (Enhanced Web Assign).  This is a key, cross-functional role that will be responsible for developing and managing the sales and marketing strategy and promotional budget. 

This position is located in Belmont CA office.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns that support the Statistics list and Enhanced Web Assign (our pan Math technology program)
• Drive sales through the support of the sales force including developing marketing collateral, travelling to key accounts and training sales reps on product features and competitive advantages
• Creatively build integrated marketing programs that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue. 
• Collaborate with media team and technology marketing team to inform and drive customer-focused technology solutions within math technology
• Execute product marketing programs for both the institutional market as well as the online, career and 2/yr 4/yr markets
• Work closely with the Editorial and Marketing groups to develop marketing and messaging programs in support of new and existing Math Technology products and programs
• Developing long term relationships with the top key customers and monitoring the ongoing activities at the largest revenue generating accounts

·         Responsible for assigned National and Regional Meetings, Conventions, and Seminars including budget control, promotional events, booth coverage and group presentations

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• 5+ years proven, successful sales experience (within higher education publishing, educational technology, or similar environment)
• Background in marketing and/or program management
• Excellent oral and written communications skills (strong presentation skills a must)
• Demonstrated success using analytical skills and critical thinking to formulate strategic direction
• Passion for Education
• Travel up to 40%
