We are currently seeking a Staff Auditor to be responsible to plan and perform audits and/or special studies and analyses of Company operations in accordance with departmental schedule. Collect and analyze data to evaluate the sufficiency of controls, detect fraud and evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Analyze systems and programs under development and identify any potential operational or business risks. Analyze computer-produced data. Verify accuracy of findings; use analytical reports and exhibits to support findings. Maintain audit files by documenting audit procedures and results. Verify accuracy of record balances, computations and transactions and test system reliability and data integrity. Make recommendations appropriate for the circumstances or initiate further discussions with management or involved business unit. Interface with various levels of management. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

4-year college degree or equivalent experience. 1-3 years in auditing insurance preferred. Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills required. Insurance coursework and/or coursework with a concentration in auditing, accounting, underwriting or fraud analysis is preferred. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality. Some travel and overtime is required. Information Technology and Underwriting background a plus. The higher level of this position (12) is an exempt position.
