Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY) is a not for profit treatment foster care agency serving more than 1,000 children and their families in eight states. SAFY foster children come from all walks of life and are of all races and backgrounds. Many have been abused and neglected and have emotional and physical disabilities that might prevent them from being placed in more traditional foster home settings. SAFY’s foster parents are professionally trained to provide treatment foster care that is tailored to each child and with the ultimate goal of permanency in mind.

This State Foster Parent Recruiter position will be responsible for the recruitment of foster parents as well as adoptive parents.  Will be working on an on-going recruitment campaign to attract people interested in becoming foster parents using a variety of media and presentation formats. Ability to pursue leads and inquiries of interest from parties interested in becoming foster parents using phone, direct contact, and mail. Energetic, enthusiastic person to perform marketing & PR activities related to foster parent recruitment, and assist in sales & marketing activities.

Job Requirements

Undergraduate degree from accredited college or university in the field of business (marketing or sales) or behavioral sciences.  One to two years of experience in business related field or sales. Requires the capability to work flexible hours daily and weekly to fulfill position duties.
