L-3 is currently recruiting for ELINT and/or COMINT Systems Engineers in Waco, TX.

The Platform Integration Division provides innovative solutions for major structural modifications and systems integration to military and commercial aircraft. The division has operations in Waco, Texas, Crestview, Florida, and Warner-Robins, Georgia.
Sr Systems Engineer II ELINT and/or COMINT:

Provide systems engineering expertise in the specification, design, integration, and test of software and hardware for COMINT and/or ELINT systems.

Conduct design studies supporting the preparation of engineering proposals and establishment of COMINT and/or ELINT systems architecture and signal processing.

Prepare specifications and detailed engineering reports on systems design and performance.

Support the preparation and presentation of formal customer reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
Work will be in the following areas:

Modern COMINT and /or ELINT systems, signals analysis, RF and antenna engineering

Signal reporting networks, user interface design and aircraft integration
Must have leadership skills, with the ability to guide and provide technical direction/vision for a given project. Be a strong contributor/leader on integrated product teams both internal and external to the company. Candidate will be performing requirements management, derivation and documentation. Will perform COMINT and/or ELINT signal analysis for system verification and integration compliance. Sets highest ethical standards for self and others. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics

A minimum of 6 years aircraft integration experience in COMINT and/or ELINT Systems Engineering is required

Must currently possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance and the ability to qualify for access to SCI

Must be willing to travel and work overtime as required

Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as: WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
