- Prepare and execute test plans
- Execute automated tests
- Create and review test cases, conditions and/or scenarios
Job Requirements
- eCommerce application testing experience
- 5 to 7 years Experience in quality assurance and testing
- 5 to 7 years experience testing a web-based ecommerce application
- 5+ years experience using SQL query tools such as TOAD
- Familiarity with UNIX
- Good knowledge of XML
- SQL and VBScripting required
- Experience using a defect tracking system
- Good understanding of release and quality management processes
- Good understanding the projects full life cycle
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and testing skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to recognize a problem and resolve with little supervision and know when to escalate an issue
- Be self motivating while working independently and/or in a team environment
- Ability to understand business requirements specifications and technical specifications
- Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet project deadline, this could include non-standard hours such as evenings and weekends needs TO BE FLEXIBILE
- Demonstrated experience using automated testing tools
