To be a Tax Preparer with Liberty Tax, you will first take the Liberty Basic Income Tax Class. You will receive hands on training and will learn everything you’ll need to prepare tax returns. Our class times are convenient so that you can do this while working full time or going to school. And, if you are a seasoned tax professional, you may have the opportunity to test out of the course.

Job Requirements

• The curriculum is designed to cover the fundamentals of basic income tax preparation. With Liberty’s Basic Income Tax Course, instructors cover all schedules, credits and forms that can be filed with an individual tax return. Students apply their tax knowledge to prepare taxes both on paper and using the computer. The only cost may be a minimal charge for books.
