Job Description
Candidate will have skills as a strong technical contributor that can develop manufacturing methods and processes. Implement engineering plans and support strategies for specific products and processes.
Experienced in manufacturing engineering roles and ability to function well within a team environment.
Experience related to assembly processes, manufacturing documentation, cause and corrective action, production readiness review, design of assembly, design of experiments.
Experience in the following areas is highly desired: design to cost experience, technical liaison to design engineering, QA, and material departments.
Knowledge of systems and computer modeling. Project Management skills to control cost, schedule, staffing, of programs.
Experience in presentations to Sr. Mgt. and potential customers. Ability to research and develop design experiments to determine materials and processes of used during a production program.
Job Requirements
Masters degree with minimum 3 years equivalent experience or Bachelors degree with minimum 5 years equivalent experience in related manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expert knowledge and proven skills on surface mount rework equipment such as AIRVAC. Understanding of thermal profiling and affects on PWBs, parts and module chassis.
