The Ideal Candidate:
Work with Project Manager to arrive at factual costs of the machinery & systems
Prepare budgetary and formal quotations of machinery and systems
Able to work with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Be willing to travel 30-40% domestically and internationally
Be prepared to assist in the commissioning of sold machinery and systems
Maintain strong communications with our field representatives worldwide for their assistance in the selling process
Be able to maintain up-to-date advertising in industry magazines and journals, our web page, as well as maintaining up-to-date brochures and flyers of our machinery
Be able to provide presentations of our technology at association meetings and short courses
Proactively pursue new business
Job Requirements
Requires the Following Strengths:
Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships worldwide, as well as within the company
Responsive quickly to customer requests for quotes, technical assistance or information. If no immediate answer is apparent, communicates this and advises when an answer is forthcoming
Self-starter with an enthusiastic attitude
Personable and articulate with good writing skills
A technical background and/or strong technical skills
Experience:
Sales of capital machinery and/or systems
Worldwide travel
Science or technical degree, Mechanical Experience
