Job Requirements
Job Function
As a Teller you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by recording customer transactions on accounts. The Teller will be required to uncover customer's product/service needs and make appropriate referral to other departments.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit; use hands and fingers, or feel objects, controls; and talk and hear. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms. Periodically required to lift and maneuver various denominations of coins, weighing approximately 25-50 lbs.
Working Conditions
Employee may be subject to long periods of standing and moving from station to station in a fast paced and loud environment.
Mental/Emotional Requirements
Employee must be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment; to perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner; to work as part of a team; to take instructions from supervisors; to exercise problem-solving skills within stated policy guidelines; and to interact with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
Pre-Application Requirement:
Completion and successful score on the Teller Skills Assessment Test (TSAT)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience - A minimum of six (6) months cash handling or customer service experience
Education - High School Diploma or equivalent
Equipment/Machines - Basic PC proficiency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience - One (1) year teller experience with emphasis in sales and service
Equipment/Machines - Coin counter; Currency Counter; PC proficiency, software and all other office equipment
